How many now deny Your grace,
Your sov’reign grace and free?
ARMINIANS
They say, that Jesus died for all,For both the sav’d and damn’d,
For Judas equally as Paul—
To make Your Sheep asham’d!
They say, Your imputed right’ousness
Was forg’d and hatch’d in hell,
Your chosen Spouse’s royal dress
Whom you have lov’d so well!
They say, Your own electing love,
Before the world began,
Would make you, like the Devil, prove
The enemy of man!
They say, Your own preserving grace,
By which we persevere,
Would lead us to licentiousness,
If we believed it were!
Accursed are all Arminians!
Now, forever God-deserted!
Unless they are coverted!
DOUBTING CALVINISTS
Some Calvinists cry ‘gainst Arminians
And hold them very vile,
While they themselves Your truth deny
By feigned words and guile.
They preach, A man may be in Christ
Unconscious of the same,
And pray the Spirit to assist
Such sermons when they frame.
What You have join’d they cut in two,
And lies for truth suborn,
They say, Your Resurrection’s true,
Yet pray to be new born;
“Lord please can you justify,
And save me by Your blood,”
With feigned lips they cry,
And call this trusting God!
The people flock by hundreds round,
And think they fly to God,
While they are grov’ling o’er the ground,
Which Antichrist has trod!
How Antichrist prevails o’er all,
Save only Your Elect!
Your own Election quickly call,
Your purpose, Lord, respect!

And here is a reponse to Albert Kim who wrote to me:
===”I believe it is a grave error to contend that all Arminians are unregenerate. Arminians, although very flawed in their understanding of salvation, still embrace Orthodoxy; the deity of Christ, justification by faith, imputation, the atoning work of Christ on the cross, man’s separation from God because of Adam’s sin, etc. John Wesley was a great contender of orthodoxy despite his uncalvinistic commitment.”===
My reponse:
Hi again Albert,
Do Arminians really embrace Christ’s “atoning work on the cross”? I mean, can a believer teach that Christ’s blood is useless (it can be shed for you and you may still end up in hell)? Or can believers affirm that God is trying to save some people who will end up in hell? Do believers worship a “christ” that cannot save those whom He loves? Does someone know the true God if they think God does not accomplish everything He wills? Does someone know the True Christ is they think His blood cannot redeem all for whom it was shed?
You write,
“I am a calvinist, however one does not need to be one in order to be saved.”
My response:
First, the issue is NOT what a person must believe in order to be saved. Anyone who thinks that belief is a requirement or condition for salvation does NOT understand Galatians 3:13 and 2 Corinthians 5:21. “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us” and “He made the One who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”.
Nothing is required for salvation if you are Elect but the work of Christ. Belief in the gospel is merely the EVIDENCE to a man that He is JUSTIFIED FROM ALL THINGS. It is NOT the cause. For if anything MORE than Christ’s work is needed to bring about justification, then Christ died in vain (Gal 2:21).
THE REAL ISSUE
The real issue is whether or not Particular Redemption is part of the gospel, or not. I believe it is. And this is easy to prove. Obviously the Apostles did not preach that Christ died for the reprobate. Therefore, the Apostles must have preached a gospel of Particular Redemption. And since the Apostles preached a gospel of Particular Redemption, all who deny P.R. deny the gospel.
I want you to look at three propositions and tell me with which of them you disagree.
1) The gospel that Christ died for the reprobate is a false gospel
2) All who believe in a false gospel are not believers
3) Therefore, all who believe Christ died for the reprobate are not believers
Look forward to hearing from you Albert!
Andrew Bain
Your syllogism is neat, but you’re not adequately proving that Particular Redemption is part of the gospel. Even if the apostles preached Particular Redemption, the fact that they preached it does not make it a part of the gospel. What elevates it from a doctrine, to a doctrine that is necessary for salvation?
The watch’s core design follows the Swiss movement which is known for its dependability. Whenever the designer watches are no longer in fashion, you might come over this dilemma by going to the replica watches way, which assures of consistency.
