Christ said the Psalms were about Himself. But the Pharisees didn’t believe that — they thought the Psalms were about David — so they crucified Jesus for saying the Psalms were about Himself.
Who do you think the Psalms are about? We’ve set up a site to list all the Psalms that are about Christ. The site is just like Wikipedia. Anyone (yes, that means you) can edit / contribute the content! And guess what? We’ve almost proven the Pharisees wrong. Already, its been shown that 36 of the Psalms are about Christ. But we need to prove that the other 114 Psalms are about Christ too. Can you help? Please add any verses you think are relevant at http://psalms.pbwiki.com

Indeed, JP’s view that faith is more than belief, seems to be the reason he writes that assurance is an “agonizing problem” for him. Piper requires unbelievers to believe Christ died for them, when Christ probably did not. Scary, isn’t it?
Last article — How JP’s view that all men know God by nature, forces him to make saving faith mystical, i.e. more than knowledge.

Just out of curiosity, why is proving that all of the Psalms have to be about Christ so vital? I have followed most of the previous posts you’ve made about this arguement (or debate if that is a better term) and said very little. I do agree that they are all about Christ or at least referring to Christ because Christ is God. Actually, I would even go so far as to say the Psalms are prophesy fulfilled by Christ (don’t get me wrong), but if someone believes that only 36 are about Christ (I’m assuming they believe this because they only believe 36 are prophetic) then why is this such a pressing issue? I may have answered my own question, but what do you think? GBU!

First time in several months I stopped by. Needless to say, I am still concerned about your Scripturally indefensible assault upon Christ, the Gospel, and the Westminster Standards.
In the current economic condition, you see job cuts and falling stock prices everywhere you look. Everyone is scrambling to cut back on their monthly spending, and many people wonder: will the classic and much coveted Louis Vuitton bag suffer the ax as well? Fear not. We have convincing reasons to believe that the Louis Vuitton Handbags , consistently a hallmark of quality and prestige, will certainly survive this economic crisis.
