Van Til — the late “Presuppositional Apologist” at Westminster Theological Serminary — assumed that the unbeliever’s heart reveals God. And since the unbeliever’s heart is always confused, Van Til concluded that sometimes “confusion is revelational of God.”

This is like saying God’s Revelation is confusing. What do you think – does the unbeliever’s perpetually confused heart reveal the God of Truth? Didn’t Isaiah say there’s “no light” in their hearts? (Isa 8:20)  Note: All quotes in this video are taken from the book, “Van Til’s Apologetic: Readings and Analysis” compiled by Greg Bahnsen.
